About
I'm Christina. I have a hard time accepting "that's just the way things are" as an answer. Most of my work starts the same way: I notice a messy human problem, get frustrated with the standard advice, and go digging into the research to see what's actually going on under the hood.
Sometimes that turns into notes pulling apart a bad assumption about how our minds work. Other times, when reading and talking about a problem isn't enough, it turns into me sitting down and trying to find out what I could build to help fix it.
I'm not an academic or a guru, and I don't have a five-step plan for anyone's life. I just like poking around in the overlap between brain science, philosophy, and technology to figure out why we get stuck on autopilot, and how we can build better ways forward.
